A Celebration Beyond Borders
One year ago, Louvre Unbound was created with a clear vision: to build an international platform for bold, independent contemporary artists beyond traditional boundaries.
Since then, artists from around the world have helped shape the identity of the magazine through powerful works, unique perspectives, and meaningful artistic dialogue. To celebrate this first anniversary, we are preparing a special international event bringing together selected artists.
This celebration will take place in Spain in collaboration with Luka Gallery, during the inauguration of the gallery’s new space inside the historic Spanish castle Castillo de Santiago(This event is not organized by the castle; it is organized by Luka Gallery). The event is expected to welcome between 300 and 400 invited guests. The event will welcome an international audience including:
artists and collectors
curators and cultural professionals
members of the European press
representatives from international embassies
members of the Spanish royal circle
invited guests from distinguished cultural circles
As part of this celebration, Louvre Unbound will launch The Celebration Edition.
This edition will be accompanied by:
Publication in the Louvre Unbound Celebration Edition.
A two-month virtual exhibition, a two-month promotion inside our social media accounts.
International online promotion.
Promotion of the virtual exhibition and publication during the celebration.
Worldwide digital publication.
Global print-on-demand distribution through Peecho and Lulu.
Printed event flyers featuring the names of all participating artists, distributed to invited guests throughout the celebration.
This project is designed not only as a publication, but as a moment of international visibility and artistic recognition, highlighting the artists.
This initiative aims to strengthen connections between artists, curators, collectors, and international cultural networks while celebrating a year of independent contemporary art without borders.
Important Information
The Celebration Edition will be published only if the minimum number of participating artists required for production is reached. If this minimum is not met and the project is cancelled, all registered artists will receive a full refund of their participation fee.
Please also note that, exceptionally, the participation fees for this project are listed in Euros (€), as the publication and its associated event will take place in Europe. This applies only to this special anniversary edition.
